Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father is Argentine with Scottish-English descendance. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. Family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she did not study English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. At the age of 16, she left school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to be an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to model.
