Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model has retired as an actor. Elson was born in the United States and began her acting career as a child actor/model and later as a an actress professionally, is famous for her portrayal of Alice Tyler as seen on the CBS science-fiction drama. Andrea applied for, and won the part as Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular program (1986). After many years of appearing on hit shows, she left the industry to raise her family. Andrea Elson's role as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter, was difficult for her. In her retrospective from 2000, People Elson said developing as a young woman in front of a satcom's viewing audience was difficult. The green-eyed New York City native grew by traveling because of the advertising job her father was employed in. When she was just ten years old she had lived between New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. Andrea was in San Diego when she met an agent. The part she auditioned was selected. Fusco supported the show's premise, saying that "ALF is at 285 years old and is able to drink beer because he's old enough. As ALF started to become more popular, NBC said that Fusco could no longer have ALF drinking beer in front of the kids. This was a negative role of a model. Fusco believed that ALF was able to drink alcohol as an adult. In 1995, he was identified with lymphoma. He was successfully treated and continued to be in remission until 2019. He passed away from the illness on June 26, 2019, at the age of 75, at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
