
Kelly Clarkson, the American Dream began to come true when she was elected to begin the inaugural American Idol season. Clarkson conceived the notion that anyone could come from all over the world and become a star, something tangible that American fans could hold on to, and even more important buying it. When her debut album was an instant hit and she shifted to a different label so that she could have greater influence over her music. And her second album became the most-sold album of any American Idol alum. The highlights of her career include traveling extensively and recording numerous Top Ten songs, publishing two multi-Platinum album, being mentored and co-writing the bulk of her music. She also has a number of honors. She received Four American Music Awards as well with twelve Billboard Music Awards. Two Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards and two Grammy Awards. She has been nominated and won major music awards are at 98 as of today.
